Job Opportunity: Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician
We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Bremen, OH. Position Details:
- Location: Near Bremen, Ohio
- Start Date: November 1, 2024
- Shift Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts, alternating between 7 a.m. 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. 7 a.m.
- A minimum of 5 shifts per month is required
- Weekend coverage is expected; no on-call duties
- Shifts for APPs (Advanced Practice Providers):
- 9 a.m. 9 p.m., 11 a.m. 11 p.m., and 2 p.m. 2 a.m.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification: ABMS/AOA in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (double-boarded ABPS also acceptable)
- Experience: At least 2+ years of recent experience in emergency medicine
- Licensure: Must hold a valid Ohio medical license (IMLC not accepted)
- Certifications: NRP and Covid vaccination are required
- EMR System: MediTech
Facility Information:
- Annual patient volume: 16,000-20,000
- 17-bed emergency department
- Transfer rate: 4.94%
- Typical transfer locations include major hospitals nearby.
Additional Notes:
- Credentialing process takes approximately 45-60 days
- Medical staff fees will be reimbursed after the provider completes their first shift
- Travel arrangements must be coordinated through the facility
